Dr. James W. Cox is a Senior Professor of Christian Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of Surprised by God: A Guide to Biblical Preaching; Learning to Speak Effectively; Preaching: A Comprehensive Approach to the Design and Delivery of Sermons; and has been the editor of The Minister’s Manual since 1984.
