Master's Degree Programs

The basic professional (master’s) degree programs provide education for persons to serve as pastors, chaplains, missionaries, evangelists, Christian educators, Christian leaders, church musicians, worship leaders, campus ministers, denominational ministers, and many other vocations. Southern Seminary offers both the Master of Arts and the Master of Divinity degrees. Though some of the emphasis areas have additional requirements, each of these degrees are generally open to any person who holds a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university (regardless of his/her major).
