Network Connection Setup Instructions

Macintosh Connection

NOTE: These are standard instructions. Some of the steps may vary, due to the installation configuration.

You should have or install the following: the newer versions of the Mac operating system should have everything needed for Internet access.

1. SETTINGS:

• Select Apple Menu
• Select Control Panel
• Select APPLETALK
  • Set Select to Connect via: ETHERNET
• Select Apple Menu
• Select Chooser
  • Set AppleTalk to ACTIVE

2. RESTART COMPUTER

3. SETTINGS:

• Select Apple Menu
• Select Control Panel
• Select TCP/IP
• Set choices to:
  • ETHERNET
  • USING DHCP SERVER

4. RESTART COMPUTER

5. Open you Internet Browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer)

6. You should now be able to access websites
