Born in England of Irish and Kurdish parents, Dr. Michael A. G. Haykin is currently Professor of Church History and Biblical Spirituality. Dr. Haykin has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Toronto (1974), a Master of Religion from Wycliffe College, the University of Toronto (1977), and a Th.D. in Church History from Wycliffe College and the University of Toronto (1982). Dr. Haykin also serves as the director of The Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies. Dr. Haykin and his wife Alison, and their two children, Victoria and Nigel, live in Dundas, Ontario. They attend Trinity Baptist Church, Burlington, Ontario, where he and his wife are members, and where he has served as an elder.
