Carl Stam

Education:

Before coming to Southern Seminary, Carl Stam served for nine years as the Pastor of Worship and Music at the Chapel Hill Bible Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where he also conducted the Chapel Hill Carrboro Community Chorus. From 1981-91, he was the Director of Choral Music at the University of Notre Dame. Under his direction, the Notre Dame Glee Club performed at regional and national conventions of the American Choral Directors Association. Mr. Stam served as the National Chair for ACDA’s Repertoire and Standards Committee for Music and Worship. He has conducted numerous all-state choirs and festival choruses and serves on the advisory council for Reformed Worship magazine and the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship.
